These guarantee provisions apply to the consumer.
The warranty period starts on the day of purchase of the product. The warranty period is 24 months. The warranty period is not extended by warranty work and replacement deliveries within the scope of the warranty. Please keep your proof of purchase. Repair or replacement within the warranty is only valid with the original proof of purchase. As a buyer, you must deal with the warranty and/or any complaints with the (web) shop where the device was purchased.
Excluded from warranty
There is no warranty for it
- damage from external influences;
- negligent damage;
- improper or incorrect use, as well as incorrect operation or load, including but not limited to the use of leaking and/or incorrectly installed batteries and/or the use of non-original parts;
- incorrect set-up or installation, for example due to failure to observe the applicable safety regulations and/or the instructions in the user, installation and/or assembly manual(s);
- changes, additions and/or extensions to the device;
- professional use;
- Trebs products that have been ordered outside the Trebs webshop. To do this, you must go back to the store or webshop where you purchased the Trebs product in question.
- repairs and/or adjustments carried out by persons or organizations other than Trebs.
The decision-making on the application of the guarantee rests with Trebs at all times.
Do you have a defective product that was purchased from Trebs in the webshop and falls within the warranty? Then you can go to our customer service.
In these warranty conditions, the following definitions apply:
Consumer: the natural person who does not act in the exercise of a profession or business and who enters into a distance contract with Trebs;
Commaxx: Commaxx BV located in Kerkrade.
Content and size
If there are defects within the warranty period, Trebs will determine whether your device will be repaired or replaced free of charge. Replacement parts or devices become the property of Trebs. Consumables (components that can be expected to require replacement during the life of the product) and accessories are NOT covered by the warranty. This includes batteries, antennas, remote controls, cords, buttons, battery covers and other such accessories.
If it is found during investigation and/or repair that the defect was caused by improper use of the device, there is no guarantee and we reserve the right to invoice the repair costs and material costs to you. We will then contact you in advance so that you can decide for yourself.
Make sure you put the device in its original packaging. If this is not possible, make sure you have a good and solid replacement packaging. The warranty is void if the device is transported without suitable packaging. The transport risk lies with you. Do not send any extra items, such as DVDs, USB sticks, or the like. Unfortunately, if these extra items are (unintentionally) lost, we cannot take any responsibility for this.
When you buy our products directly from Trebs or from an authorized Trebs dealer, you can be sure that you have a genuine Trebs product. Only those genuine Trebs products purchased from Trebs or an authorized Trebs dealer are covered by the Trebs Limited Warranty.
When you purchase our products from an unauthorized Trebs dealer, the product is only covered by the Trebs warranty if the unauthorized dealer can prove with a detailed invoice and proof of payment that the product was actually purchased from Trebs or an authorized Trebs dealer.
Trebs gives no warranty on counterfeit products. Attempting to resell such products may subject you to legal liability and/or criminal prosecution.
